By TRICARE Communications

Are you a fan of podcasts? If so, grab your favorite headphones and get ready to listen to “Get to Know TRICARE.” It’s a new podcast from TRICARE to help you learn the ins and outs of your TRICARE benefit. You’ll hear from experts at the Defense Health Agency who offer insight into the TRICARE program. This includes details about health plans, dental care, pharmacy, and more.

“We’re always eager to help our service members and their families get the most out of their TRICARE coverage,” said Diana Logreira, chief of Digital Communications at the Defense Health Agency. “This podcast is another resource to help them do that. Anyone can easily listen to it while at home or on the go.”

The first episode of the new podcast, “Need a TRICARE Refresher?,” is available now. It features an interview with Calvin Keller, who is a health systems analyst with the Benefit Education and Research Team at the Defense Health Agency. Keller talks about how the TRICARE program works and what health plan options are available to you. But it won’t end there.

This episode is part of a four-part series—TRICARE 101—that touches on the basics of TRICARE. This series may come in handy if you’re a new beneficiary who’s just getting started with TRICARE or you’ve had TRICARE for years, but could use a refresher. It also covers helpful topics, like how to get care, choose a doctor, file claims, and understand your out-of-pocket costs.

So, make sure you give this first episode a listen and subscribe so you don’t miss out on future episodes. “Get to Know TRICARE” is available on:
By subscribing, you’ll be able to listen to the latest content from your computer or mobile device. And you’ll receive an alert whenever TRICARE releases a new episode.
