We surgically remove skin cancers (such as basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma) as well as other benign, common lesions such as atypical moles and symptomatic cysts and lipomas. All of our procedures are performed in our clinic surgical suites under local anesthesia.
Additionally, we have a well established Mohs surgery service to treat certain high risk skin cancers. Mohs surgery is an outpatient procedure performed under local anesthesia. It is a highly specialized and precise treatment for skin cancer during which the cancer is removed in stages, one tissue layer at a time.
