Interdisciplinary Pain Management

The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth exists to provide quality anesthesia and comprehensive pain management care to members of the uniformed services. We provide care to active duty and eligible active duty dependents, retirees, and retiree dependents, including children on a space available basis. Additionally, we provide post graduate medical education in the form of an anesthesiology residency program, a pain management fellowship program, and a student nurse anesthetist program (USUHS affiliated).
