Outpatient Mental/Behavioral Health
NMCP Outpatient Mental Health is a multi-disciplinary department comprised of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, nurses, behavioral health technicians, trainees, as well as other ancillary and support staff dedicated to provide the finest mental health treatment to service members and beneficiaries.
NMCP Outpatient Mental Health provides a full range of mental health services to include individual and group psychotherapy and psychopharmacology therapy for adults and children. Active duty personnel and their children are the first priority to receive care through NMCP.
Any active duty or beneficiary should initiate a referral to mental health care through their Primary Care Manager. Active duty may also present during self-referral station hours on Tuesday 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. and Friday 1 - 3 p.m. If presenting at the self-referral station, a behavioral health technician will collect only the necessary information to submit a referral in order to connect you to the best care to fit your needs.
In order to provide you with the best service, please note the following:
- It is very important to plan ahead and arrive at your initial appointment 30 minutes prior to your appointment time in order to complete required paperwork. You will be asked to complete several forms which allow us to get to know you and provide information regarding privacy and confidentiality.
- Traffic and parking often cause delays, plan accordingly.

- Please call 48 hours ahead in advance of the appointment to make changes.
