About Us

Student Medical Support

Medical support information for students attending schools at area units.

Providing safe, quality, and timely health care to our student beneficiaries is our mission/priority.  In accordance with DHA policy DHA-PI 6000.12 November 23, 2021, our student population will now be enrolled to an operational forces primary care manager.  Upon checking into the schoolhouse, please call Humana at 1-800-444-5445 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.  Once assigned, you will be able to schedule an appointment through the Hampton Roads Appointment Center (HRAC) at 1-866-645-4584 , Monday through Friday 6 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday/Holidays (except Christmas Day) 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Given the unique nature of our student population, who are housed on Dam Neck Annex with most of whom do not have a POVs, Branch Health Clinic Dam Neck will still accommodate or prioritize students.  However you may also schedule your appointments at our other branch health clinic locations.

For students that are here 179 days or less, you no longer have to drop off your medical records to our clinic; instead, please keep them in a safe place.   When you move on to your next assignment, it is incumbent upon you to enroll with a PCM at your new duty station through Humana.
