Our oncology team provides surgical intervention for endometrial cancer, ovarian tubal peritoneal cancer, cervical cancer, and vulva cancer, as well as cutting edge targeted chemotherapy. We are a highly collaborative group, involving Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology, and Pathology in the care of complex and challenging gynecologic cancer cases retired military, VA, active duty and dependent populations.
As Chair of the Cancer Committee, I take special interest in ensuring our team of professional Cancer Care Providers has access to the most up to date technology and therapeutics available in the DHA, and that our patients have a top notch experience at our facility.
I have a special interest in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy and robotic) for the treatment of cancerous and noncancerous diseases of the female reproductive system as well as in cancer prevention with risk reducing surgery and a robust cervical cancer screening program.
