NMCP DOCTOR RECEIVES NAVY JUNIOR PSYCHOLOGIST OF THE YEAR

PORTSMOUTH VA — Capt. Lisa Mulligan, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) commanding officer (right), presents a command coin with congratulations to Branch Health Clinic Norfolk’s Lt. Laura Corey for receiving the Navy’s Junior Psychologist of the Year award. “I want to thank you for what you’ve done, both in terms of the triage clinic and with training the BHT’s (behavioral health technicians and putting that program together,” said Mulligan. “The force development and generation piece of that is huge. NMCP’S RRRT ASSISTS TEXAS HOSPITAL IN COVID-19 RESPONSE

PORTSMOUTH VA — Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF) Rapid Rural Response Team (RRRT) deployed to Starr County Memorial Hospital in Rio Grande, Texas, to help in the fight against the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) from July 19 to Sept. 7.

NMCP Recognizes 40 New Master and Associate Master Clinicians

Portsmouth VA — Nov. 10, 2020 - Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) recognized 19 providers as master and associate master clinicians in the medical center’s auditorium at a ceremony held on Nov. 10. Overall 40 staff members received awards, but many weren’t able to attend the ceremony.
